Salone Satellite Stand B3 pad.22 17-22 aprile 2012



L’allestimento dello stand è un’installazione composta da volumi che sporgono dalle pareti laterali, che come scogli fungono da metafora di un’architettura i cui componenti individuali interagiscono per generare uno spazio. I moduli sono concepiti come piccola unità che determina l’intelligenza dell’intero sistema.

La parete interattiva, la cui meccanica è stata studiata da Paolo Chiantore, incornicia lo stand e crea un punto d’incontro con l’osservatore, che viene catapultato nella realtà virtuale dello spazio modulare.

Il riflesso crea un effetto di spaesamento in quanto non è specchiante ma asimmetrico.

 

The stand is an installation composed by volumes protruding from side walls as in reefs and it acts as a metaphor of an architecture whose individual components interact to create a space. The modules are designed as a small unit that determines the intelligence of the entire system.​
The interactive wall, whose mechanism has been devised by Paolo Chiantore, frames the stand and creates a meeting point with the observer, who is shot forth into the virtual reality of the modular space.
​The reflection creates a disorienting effect as it is not mirroring but asymmetric.

To-design in the World is at Most with a selection of 15 designers representing the Piedmontese offer: Archilandstudi exhibits a multi-purpose indoor and outdoor housing unit; Lana&Savettiere, Caplavur and Stile Urbano by Cementubi display some interesting outdoor urban decoration elements; Lamur introduces a new lighting solution; Dobedo, Luisa Maiullari and L’Acero Falegnameria put on show some products of interior design; Alessandra Scarfò and Falabrac present their jewellery collections; Protocube exhibits a smart solution to use the digital 3D modelling and Rapid Prototyping & Manufacturing technologies; Workshop illustrates a temporary store called ”Torino design market”, where the visitors can buy design products; Turn is instead a community of designers promoting design philosophy to the public.
